Fresh from its success in the Grand Prix Alanya, the Synergy Baku Cycling Project will next tackle the Tour of Antalya, looking for further wins in the Turkish stage race with lots of climbing (February 22-25).

Kirill Pozdnyakov, who soloed in to win the Grand Prix Alanya on Sunday, will lead the team on the 458.6 km race. He will be supported by the same team as in Alanya: Oleksandr Polivoda, Elgun Alizada, Enver Asanov, Elchin Asadov, Samir Jabrayilov and Musa Mikayilzade.

The Tour of Antalya opens on Thursday with 158.6 km in Korkuteli, and features a cat. 1 climb only some 50 km into the stage, followed by a cat. 3 climb before a long and steep descent to the finish. There is another cat. 1 climb on the second stage, 121.3 km in Kemer.

Stage 3 is an interesting one, only 32.5 km long, in Feslikan The first 20 km are basically flat, but then the climbing starts. Five km in comes a cat. 2 ranking, and from there the climbing continues up to the cat. 1 mountaintop finish.

There is no rest for teams on the final stage: Although there is only one cat. 4 climb, the entire day will be spent going up and down on a heavily rolling course before the final overall winner is crowned.
